Dear VIAG members and friends
The following posts will display the responses of members to the recent experimental use of our network to collate information, input, advice and perspective on recent events in Japan.
The following series of blog posts represents a first step in collating and making publicly available the benefits of the experience and expertise driving those responses.
While the VIAG is focussed on issues related directly to mass gatherings it is still a network of experts, and we would like to use the strengths if that network to address this question.
For easy reference, the initial request was to find out whether any members:
- Had ideas on how our joint expertise can best be put to use in the response effort
- Had any notion of Japanese needs that might be met through or by our members
- Were already involved in the response and would like to reach out for assistance or extra capacity through the VIAG.
